     Meet the Experts   -   Richard Milton  +  Catherine Billam

Richard Milton writes on business for The Daily Telegraph.  He's the author of six books including "Bad Company", selected by The Sunday Times as its Business Book of the Week and used as a reference book on MBA courses. 

He lectures regularly on web marketing, social media, digital journalism and marketing at The PR Training Centre in London. He is a visiting lecturer on PR and Journalism at Buckingham University.

He has written the Business Plans for many start-up companies, and product launches, including dot-com and web-delivered products and services. He was chairman and Editorial Director of Compass Press, responsible for a stable of business newspapers and magazines. He launched the tabloid newspaper "Minicomputer News" in 1980 and sold it to EMAP in 1985 for £1 million.

He was in charge of International Information with PA Management Consultants for three years and later an Associate Consultant with PA working on market intelligence projects in telecommunications. He was editor of weekly magazines "Electronics Today" and "New Data". Helped launched "New Electronics" and "Communications International". At  Business Publications he was editor of weekly business publication "Dataweek".  He is editor and publisher of Windows Phone News.

Catherine Billam has more than two decades of experience helping people and organisations to change. She is CEO and founder of Business Change Leadership. Previously Catherine worked as a management consultant for Ernst & Young/Capgemini, specialising in Change Management and Organisation Development. She was Head of HR for AST Europe and worked for BP for five years in roles that included marketing, account management, finance and IT. 

Catherine loves to learn. She has an MSc in Organisation Development, Post graduate Certificate in Transpersonal Arts and Practice, BA in Economic and Social  Studies.

She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), having trained at the prestigious Coaches Training Institute; and a licensed Firework career coach. She has also trained in Organisation Relationship Systems Coaching.  She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She also has certificates in humanistic and psychodynamic counselling, and a diploma in NLP. Catherine’s love of challenge and adventure is not limited to the organisations and people she works with. She has sailed across the Atlantic in a 32 foot yacht;  she is a PADI Divemaster; she has undertaken five long distance cycle rides, including the West Coasts of Scotland and Ireland.
